BIOMETRIE GOES ARMENIEN

Application of security to biometrics and communications

Cooperation

University of Duisburg-Essen and American University of Armenia

Supported by the VW foundation

The project intends to support and develop the research at the American University in Armenia in the field of coding, information theory and security.

It is especially focused on talented Ph.D. students to give them the opportunity to get in contact with leading scientists in the field.

The research concentrates on biometric verification, processing of biometric data, constructing fault tolerant passwords from noisy observations,

secrecy of storing and processing private data, implementation with real data, coding and biometric authentication.
